B2B Integration Cockpit - table B2B_X12_DEF_MSG

I was trying to add new segment to table B2B_X12_DEF_MSG in B2B Integration Cockpit. But there are fields like CTRL_KEY and PARENT_INDEX.

could you please advise what are these numbers ?

Hi Kumar,

as Dimitri said, please use the message editor. It is 50 times faster to edit b2b content with the message editor than directly changing b2b table content. And much safer. One mistake made here and you will search for hours for the reason of your errors.

However if you have an old version of the b2b addon, kindly consider an upgrade, please.

In the b2b ANSI X.12    B2B_X12_DEF_MSG determines the order of the subsegments.

E.g. in 004010 850

ST has the Parent_Index 0

BEG has the Parent_Index 1

CUR has the Parent_Index 2

and so on.

This table determines how the xsd is built by the b2b addon.
