Hi Experts,
I have amount and currency fields in my gateway entity. The amount field is of type "Decimal (12,3)". For currencies like KRW and JPY I am facing an issue where if my KRW has an amount of 300 and as per configuration it can have no decimal places, the value 300.00 sent from gateway becomes 30000 on UI.
I went through the blogs and also added steps like calling method DISABLE_CONVERSION for the amount field and setting semantic for CURRENCY field. However, it still uses default currency conversion method of SAP and gives incorrect output.
AS per the below link,
Conversion Handling in OData Channel - SAP Gateway Foundation (SAP_GWFND) - SAP Library
I am unable to understand what is meant by the highlighted part:
The conversion of a property must be disabled in the following cases:
Please let me know if I should be explicitly handling currency conversion through code in DPC_EXT class or are there any other steps I need to perform to get correct output.
Any help will be highly appreciated!
Thanks,
Sakshi
Hi Sakshi,
Can you please share a screenshot of properties?
It may help to analyze further.
