Performance test tools supporting SAP GUI Connection by IP spoofing(Multiple IP on Single PC)

Hi, Dear all,

I've been doing a performance test to ERP by using HP Load Runner.

Load Runner supports  IP spoofing (Multiple IP on Single PC) on HTTP Connection etc,

but does not support it to SAP GUI Connection.

So I'm looking for other tools that can support it to SAP GUI Connection.

Do you know that there are the tools that can support it?

However, actually, is SAP GUI Connection by IP spoofing possible?

If it is not possible, I should give up looking for the tool, then I will continue the test with HP Load Runner.

I've continued the survey how to SAP GUI connection test by multiple IP(IP Spoofing) on HP Load Runner, and I've found that it seems possible by using Multiple Protocols(SAP Web & SAP GUI).

So, I'll survey it more deeply by myself.

I have been involved in several performance test projects, and if we require several loads as simulation, we have used multiple desktops or eCATT

Loadrunner will always give you more info than running the ecatt by yourself, but its a mater of number of licenses.

testing loadrunner you will be able to test as well the front-end part, specially important when trying dynpros.

Thank you for your reply and info.

I understand you haven't used Loadrunner such as that situation.

But I'd like only to make multiple sap gui connections from multiple IP addresses, and I already have had a loadrunner test platform, so I have used loadrunner.

In Testing transaction of sap, I think we can use eCATT, too.

Currently, I have stopped the test because I have other tasks.

So, if I have any progress of this issue, I will put the info on here.

Takahiro Hayakawa Based on my experience IP Spoofing is a feature supported by LR to be used to simulate multiple IP's traffic from a Single machine Defining it in a easier way would be "IP spoofing" enables each host machine to "spoof" the server into thinking it is using many different IP addresses If it is configured on the machine the vusers should be able to use this feature can you please Run the SAP GUI script as a "Process" Note - After turning IP spoofing on or off, for the setting to take effect, the Load Generator needs to be disconnected and reconnected again.
