BUSINESS PARTNER RELATIONSHIPS ARE NOT REPLICATING TO CRM FROM ECC

Former Member

i have started the delta upload in PRD system. however, business partners are replicating but their relationships are not. where a business partner is linked as a spouse in ECC system, in CRM the business partner is replicating but not the relationship that links them.

i am getting the following errors in smw01

in the outbound queue in CRM, BUPA_REL object has error "Sysfail"

there is a corresponding dump in ECC

any help will be appreciated on how this error can be solved

Hello,

Which document are you using to check entries in tables *CALL_FU?

I've just reviewed your first screeshot: and many Bdocs are sent within the same second... so are you using a custom Z program to transfer relationships from ECC to CRM?

yes Nicolas. A custom Z program is being used to upload the relationships into ECC, and in turn they are to replicate into CRM.

in smq2, the queues for BUPA_MAIN and BUPA_REL are still running

Ok now I get it.

First: you should never start 2 intial downloads on dependent objects at the same time. This is error prone... so please kindly wait for the initial download of BUPA_MAIN to be finished before starting IDL on BUPA_REL.

Then: if you load massive amount of data into ECC, I would recommend to stop the delta replication to avoid errors and (even more important) this will also avoid to slow down the performance of your systems significantly.

Plus: usually people creating program in ECC doesn't really care about the best place to write a "COMMIT" statement with a connected CRM system... and I can tell you this is where the error lies 99% of the time, because when you COMMIT a lot of stuff happens in the background to create Bdocs and send them to CRM. If the commit is not at the exact right place, some buffers will be cleared before the Bdoc can be created successfully... which will result in many errors in SMW01.

So let's start over: if you create a relationship manually in CRM (or ECC), does it flow successfully to the other system? Because if the answer if yes: check your Z program in ECC with a senior developer... or stop the delta replication while the program is running, and start a request load afterwards.

Best regards,

Nicolas.

Thnak you Nicolas. Newly created relationships are not fully replicating. For example, if an employer-employee relationship is created, an employer with maybe 300 employees in ECC will only replicate 150 or 200 of the 300 employees. This is for CRM social services solution, so also, if a BP has 2 children, sometimes only 1 will come through to CRM. with the Bdoc error saying the same thing as shown below

You're talking about social services... but the cookbook you sent earlier is for IS-Media. Are you sure your custimizing of tables *CALL_FU is relevant for your scenario?

i am quite new to middleware. and my assumption was that any link would be relevant....

Where can one get the relevant cookbook?

Sorry but I'm working for Utility companies... hence I never had to find any cookbook for your scenario. But as far as CRM integration with IS-U is concerned, you'll find all the cookbooks you need under http://service.sap.com/utilities. Then go to "Product information >> SAP CRM for Utilities >> Cookbooks". Here is an example of what you're looking for:

https://service.sap.com/~sapidb/011000358700000347572009E/SLG_GP_rel_Partner_roles_e.pdf

I guess you should be able to download the same for Social services? Or you'll have to wait if anybody else on SCN can help you further... and if not, open an incident on http://support.sap.com/message explaining your problem and asking for the relevant cookbook to check your customizing.

Best regards,

Nicolas.

Hello,

Usually this kind of error is due to erroneous customizing in table CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU in CRM, or in table COM_BUPA_CALL_FU in ERP. So I would recommend to double check the corresponding cookbook for your scenario, to see if you registered correct function modules for object BUPR.

Best regards,

Nicolas.
