problem with form display

Hi all,

I have got a problem with the paragraph format creation in form layout SE71.

I require layout as :

1. <u>Title</u>

1.1 Enough information should be provided so

that the technical designer can step .......

1.2 ..............

2. <u>Title</u>

2.1 ..................

2.2 ............

and so on.

Here when i give the number chaining option selected with proper outline selected but I do not get the decimal (.) in the sub-heading which is required and it is displayed as

ans so on.

Pls. help me with this.
