Need Sloc to Sloc transfer of material with Specific Storage type and Storage Bin number

I am facing a scenario in which we need to transfer material from One storage location to another storage location with specific bin number.

e.g i want to transfer WMTEST material From Sloc ST01 & St.Type ST1 & BIn Number axx-01-001

                                                               to Sloc ST03 & St.Type ST2 & BIn Number B00-01-001

We can use MB1B but it will not gv option to provide Sloc & St.Type. But not able to find such transaction in which we can do this activity.

Hi

MB1B should always have fields for 'from ' and 'to' storage location. Which movement type you used for this?

If WM is linked to any of storage location, process does not ends there, you need to create transfer order w.r.t to material document or TR and during TO creation you can specify 'source' and 'destination' bin data, unless TO is not getting created automatically in background on posting of material document

Hello Mit,

Though you have same Warehouse assigned to both Storage location of Plant# XXX, both the warehouses are different Entities.

First do the Transfer  at IM Level [Sloc - Sloc] using MB1B and then Complete the WM Activities like creating the TO for the Open TRs.

if you are looking for a solution where from the GUI you can enter the storage type and storage bin and system should perform that then that is not available however

if you are working with IDoc (Message type MBGMCR) then you can specify the storage type and storage bin directly in the segment. Please refer the below mentioned existing thread to get the segment detail

From your query below, i thought that WM is activated for both storage locations mentioned above. First you can create material document transferring from one storage location to another. After that you need to create transfer order for the material document via LT06, or you can list the posting change notices via LU04 and create TO. You need to deselect posting change at same storage bin on storage type configuration so you may be able to create transfer order from one storage type to another.
