Party role determination rule

Hello,

I hope that anybody can help me out with the following requirement.

I have defined a role XYZ in fine tuning activity party role definition. I want to use this role in my opportunity. XYZ should be determined based on the account that is selected in the opportunity. It should be copied! So the advertiser should be the same as the account.

How can this be achieved?

BR, Roman

    • Hi Roman,

I know it is too late for a reply, but may be this would help for other consultants who struggled like me with the same question as you posted.

The step 5 highlighted as above can be influenced by using the Define Rules for Opportunities Parties configuration activity.

This is available under the path

Administration --> Sales and Marketing Settings --> Define Rules for Opportunities Parties configuration activity.
