Can we access data from other databases such as SQLServer from HCP application? How ?
Hi Megha,
I think it should be possible to connect to your on-premises databases via cloud connector.
Some information on configuring cloud connector.

On successful connection to on-premises database, you can use virtual tables on HANA via SDA to access this data in your application.

The supported databases on HCP are SAP HANA and SAP ASE. See SAP HANA Cloud Platform

For outbound connectivity from HCP apps currently the supported protocols are HTTP, Mail and RFC. Therefore you would need to expose your data over HTTP and then use SAP HANA Cloud Connector to connect to your on-premises system. See SAP HANA Cloud Platform for more details.
Another option would be to use SDI (Smart Data Integration) - see - however that's not yet available on HCP.
