SAP ABAP certification training provided by college through a tie-up with SAP AG India

I'm a pre-final year student and I aspire to work on SAP. My college currently has a tie-up with SAP AG India. We are offered with courses like ABAP and MM. I have completed the first module in ABAP through the SAP for Education software and I'm learning ABAP workbench part 2 now. My question is, can I take up the certification exam for ABAP right away or should I join a training institute and then take up the exam?

I would like to know whether preparing from SAP for Education software is enough to take up the certification exam.

Not sure whether the Person who is providing the training is well versed enough or you were just made to sit through the videos.If possible refer to more training materials on https://open.sap.com/.

"Hands-On" is the key. The more you make your hands dirty in the code, the more you will be well versed with the technology and ready to take the certification.

Complete all the pre-requisite training required for the certfication, then you may appear for the certification.
