BOP questions

Hi Experts,

Have couple of basic questions regarding BOP:

If I have a order with overall rejection status, should BOP pick up that order?

If I have just one line item that is rejected should BOP pick that order.

Ran BOP and its in U status forever. Checked TQAs and they are stuck. How should we clear those TQAs?

We have several "rejected" sales orders in BOP results. How should I diagnose these rejected sales orders.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Karan

Karan,

Typically, No

If I have just one line item that is rejected should BOP pick that order.

BOP will select whatever you have in your filter.  The fact that an item on an order is rejected is not sufficient in itself to prevent other items in the order from being selected and processed by BOP.

Try /SAPAPO/AC06

If you mean the update status in the BOP results is 'rejected', look at the messages (blue button).

Hi Dogboy,

Thanks for your response.

If BOP should not pick up the rejected orders as you say, but what if it picks up. What should be my next course of action.

I use AC06 to see  the hanging TQAs . But how do I clear those. As indicated, I have several TQAs after the BOP run and the orders are not updated. What should I do?

I saw the messages in the BOP results and this the message "Item 082577779/000040 has not been updated"

I made sure that nobody was in the order and i do not see any other reason for this rejection

Appreciate your help

Thanks

Karan,

Question 1: Do nothing unless you have a business problem.

Question 2.  Seriously?

Question 3:  Keep looking.

I think you need to put some of your own effort into this.

Hi,

What made those rejected orders to be in your gATP system ? Did you check this ? I think this is one of the key things in gATP. You may need to read about ERP GATP Synchronization.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Hi BK,

Thats exactly my doubt and query is. I checked all the possible causes that might have caused them to be rejected. Things like:

  • If anyone was on those orders
  • Was there any stuck CIF queues-Inbound/outbound in both systems
  • Was there any block on the orders like credit block/overall block
  • Checked if anyone changed anything in the order and made them inconsistent
  • Ran sdrqcr to see any inconsistencies.
  • Checked if any line item was on rejection status.

Thats all I could think of and when I couldn't find any possible reason, I thought of taking experts advice.

So if you think there may be more reasons then I would be happy to hear those and test it in my system.

Thanks
