Hi Experts,

we are facing an issue with TOREFRESH we are using 4.1 BICS conncetion.

In our webi report we have input control on product webi report is working fine.

when am using the input control for the specific product its giving error #TOREFRESH.

Please suggest me any idea how to resolve this issue.

Solution

Case #1 > No issue

There is one block with two dimensions and one measure.
The measure is a sum aggregated numeric.
So whatever the input control selected value is, this measure is locally aggregated by Web Intelligence calculator and no need to generate a new request to the database.

Case #2 > #TOREFRESH

There is a block with 8 objects, one of them is numeric smart measure, mean the aggregation is delegated to the database.

In this case, each time a new filter value is selected (ie, switching between all values and a specific value in the input control), a new database request should be triggered to get newly asked grouping set as Web Intelligence doesn’t know how to aggregate a delegated measure. That’s the reason why a #TOREFRESH is displayed.

Workaround:

The workaround is to add the filter dimension to the block and this should avoid #TOREFREH been displayed while switching between all values and a specific value. For this, you might need to refresh the document once.

Refresh again data is coming. But user don't want to refresh two times.

i disabled query scripting option also

HI Bhargav,

As you might be aware this issue comes when you are using database delegated measure in your report and you are trying to get the data in to the report that is not available in a micro cube. To avoid that either you need to follow one of the approach mentioned in below post
