Migration HTTP Plain Adapter (ABAP) to HTTP Adapter AAE (Java)

Hello Colleagues,

we have synchronous scenarios with the ABAP HTTP Plain Adapter as receiver in place, currently.

Our intention is, to move "old" ABAP RFC connections "HTTP Connections to External Server" (HTTP Plain Adapter) to the Advanced Adapter Engine based HTTP Adapter (Java).

Please, what have we to consider for this migration?

Any documentation available for this?

Many thanks in advance!

Regards,

Jochen

Hi Jochen,

Migration can be done using the standard tool provided by Migration toolkit. Please follow the blog to migrate your objects.

Along with this, you need to create a type "G "RFC destination in ECC to connect to your single stack PI system and in PI system you need to create a HTTP destination to connect to ECC system instead of RFC type destination. It must be done in NWA of PI system.
