Error while saving the selection profile

Dear Experts,

When user is trying to save the selection profile in planning book user got an error "Error in saving a Selection".

But at the same time i am able to create and save the selection profile in the same PB.

Is user required any authorization or Roles?

could you please help me on this.

Hi Vasu

Did you removed some attributes or values of attributes from planning area which could be part of these selections. This could create inconsistencies and make issues. Please use following reports to remove the inconsistencies from the selection profiles.

/SAPAPO/MCPSH_GEN_SELTAB_CHECK

/SAPAPO/MCPSH_GEN_SELTAB_MGM

Are Planners are creating new selection or changing existing selections?

Hi Amol,

I am not changed values of attributes from planning area.

While planner is creating the new selection profile, user having the issue.

For me i am able to create the selection profiles.

Please suggest me.

But then it could be authorization issue,!!.

You can ask them to follow below steps.

1. Try to perform similar activity.

2. Whenever they receive the error then ask them to open new window and open the T-code SU53 and provide you the screen shot.

3. In case of authorization issue, you can get the respective authorization object which they are missing.

Once you have this authorization object you can compare it.
