What is the equivalent of function modules in IBP?

Is there any equivalent of function modules in IBP? In APO/ECC, we could use function modules for date calculations eg DATE_GET_WEEK etc. If we were to do similar calculations in IBP, how to go about it? What is the equivalent of modularisation and re-use of functionality in IBP?
