Dear All,

I need a solution for one of the requirements of the client i.e. "Posting a Journal entry in multiple currency". Like posting a one line item in USD and another line item in INR". Is it possible with SAP, as the document header says we can post in one currency and then we can view the amount in another currency.

The required entries may be in the screenshot.

Hi, what's the aim?

You need only 2 currency in the document - foreign and local?

This is understood "In SAP you can post a document with only one currency. Currency is kept in the header of the document, not in line items".

I have a concern related to multi-currency postings.

My client is in money exchange (Forex Trade) business, Client wants to  post different currencies in a single posting  document.

The above mentioned solution "use the other technical account to post the entries for each currency" is one of the solution as of now, Also, can a program be developed as mentioned in this thread "".  But I am not able to understand what suggestions had been given by SAP.

Peoples' comments are appreciated. Thanks!

Hello Chetan,

In SAP you can post a document with only one currency. Currency is kept in header of the document, not in line items.

The only solution is using one another technical account to use in 2 documents for each currency.

In addition to Fatih, the technical account should have "Balances only in LC" enabled so the only currency it will consider is Local.
