Cost missing after 222Q before 221Q

HI,

My client has done a MIGO for particular batch of materials and immediately done a 222q movement(By mistake instead of 221Q). To reverse the same 221Q was done by her. The stock is reveresed using 411 & 412 mvts to bring it to GNST but now cost doesn't flow in Amount LC column.

My question is 1) Can you do a 222q movement even before a 221Q is done?

                       2) What happened to the cost of the product ?why is it a zero in the Amount LC column.

                       3) Can there be a product or a stock with zero cost??

Thanks & Regards

Swathi

1) you already have the evidence as you user did it, doesn't this answer the question?

2) A reversal is valuated with the price maintained in the material master, so you have probably no price in your material, hence the movement is without value.

3) again self-explaining as you have it in your system. Of course this must be possible since you could get materials for free.

Hi,

Thank you for the response.

The material is not a zero cost material. There is a value against 101mvt for it. The Cost is zero only in the later transactions.Same scenario was recreated and tested. The cost still flows but the same doesnt seem to happen in the earlier attached screenshot.

How can reversal of a stock which is not a q stock yet neither is it moved to Sale order stock happen ?

Post a screenshot from your material master accounting view. also checking the change history of your material master could unveil some unconsidered changes. or alternative a screenshot from MR51 which will also show price changes
