Item description does not populate on marketing document

Hi All,

Good Afternoon!

i am using SAP B1 Version 9.1 PL07

i am not getting item description while entering item code in marketing document.

Please help me out....

Hello Kumar ,

Go to user defaults , and add a default warehouse to the user wish you are using , then try again ,

if it work apply it to all users ,

I had face this in 9.1 PL 8 ,

if this happened to all user, then it is something u need to report to SAP, if just one user, i believe reinstall the windows and reinstall the client should solve this.

Or create another windows user and try might solve this too.

You might want to check if there is a formatted search on this form that is not functioning properly. With this query you find all FMS in one form

SELECT T0.FormId, T0.ItemID, T0.ColID,T2.CatName, T1.QName, T1.QString

FROM CSHS T0

LEFT JOIN OUQR T1 ON T0.QueryId = T1.IntrnalKey

INNER JOIN OQCN T2 ON T1.QCategory = T2.CategoryId

WHERE T0.FormID = 'xxx'

You can find the FormID by switching on the System Information (Ctrl+Shift+I) in the lower left corner.

I see you queried the ItemMasterdata form, but I suggest you query the PO, formId 142

Then this is not the way to solve this. I suggest you report this incident to SAP Support .

Hi Kartik,

You need to check mark Item Description field through Form Setting to make it visible.

Click on Form Setting --> Table Format and Tick Mark Item Description to visible.

But item description is already in the marketing document.

For Some random items the description is not coming!

Can you send screenshot of that marketing document for that Item and also item master screenshot of that Item.
