Not all rows are coming to BEx report output

Hi Experts,

We have got a Bex report in which all the rows are not coming for a specific filter. Equipment Type 0EQUIPMENT in this case.

Report is based on master data infoobject 0EQUIPMENT.

Infoprovider is having all the data for single equipment type but when we execute report in BEx we are not getting all the related data.

If i add one KF to the report column then we are getting all the records and upon removing that again only 2 records.

Have anyone faced this kind of issue?

Note:Query does not have any filter related to that equipment.

Regards,

Shashank

HI,

Issue is resolved now.

What was the actual issue?:- Infoobject was having BWA index which was causing the problem, we have delete the index and now we are getting the desired output.

Thanks all for your help..

Hi Shashank,

Please remove suppress zero option from query property. It might happen that for Filter A1, you might have Age w/ Mfg Date has only 2 records for which 0ACQ has 0 value.

Thanks,

Shailesh.

Hi Shailesh,

There is no suppress zero property set for the query.

Hi Jyothi,

My report is on infoobject(Infoprovider) only.

With Equipment Type Filter A1, getting only 2 records
Equipment TypeAssignmentEquipmentAge w/ Mfg Date (KF)
A1AA1A1-110
A1-210
Here no specific KF is added
Equipment TypeAssignmentEquipmentAge w/ Mfg Date (KF)0ACQ_VALUE
A1AA1A1-110$100
A1-210$100
A1-310$100
A1-410$100
After adding 0ACQ_VALUE KF I am getting all the records for that equipment type

Hi,

so there is a filter on equipment type as "A1" ? was it a static filter? or optimal filter? how is the kefigure age w/mfg date defined? also, this kefigure is there in two scenarios which you mentioned, where is 0acq_value kf ?

can you share query designer layout of this report ?

Hi Jyothi,

so there is a filter on equipment type as "A1" ? -- Yes,

was it a static filter? or optimal filter? -- This is a dynamic filter can apply once report is executed.

how is the kefigure age w/mfg date defined? -- This is standard filed coming from 0EQUIPMENT DS.

also, this kefigure is there in two scenarios which you mentioned, where is 0acq_value kf ? -- its as shown below aditional column.

With Equipment Type Filter A1, getting only 2 records
Equipment TypeAssignmentEquipmentAge w/ Mfg Date (KF)
A1AA1A1-110
A1-210
Here no specific KF is added
Equipment TypeAssignmentEquipmentAge w/ Mfg Date (KF)0ACQ_VALUE (KF)
A1AA1A1-110$100
A1-210$100
A1-310$100
A1-410$100
After adding 0ACQ_VALUE KF I am getting all the records for that equipment type

try to run  the same query in RSRT without adding 0acq_value  and see the reuslts

Hi Jyothi,

I have tried that in RSRT, from there only I get to know the issue.

Our base query does not have 0ACQ_VALUE KF added originally.

Suddenly we get this issue and seeing only 2 records.

Then after analyzing we tried to add 0ACQ_VALUE and upon addition we are getting all the values.

We cant tell clients that if we add this KF it will work, because they need to know RCA for the same.

Because it was working earlier.
