We are looking to implement Preference processing for Korea for our client. Please let me know the feasibility to have preference processing implemented for EU-Korea.
Recently we have upgraded our GTS system in August 2015 from 8.0 to 10.1 version.
In previous version 8.0, we used to have EU and NAFTA separately only for Europe and North America in Preference processing in Risk management whereas in version 10.1, it seems to be commonly available. We would like to know whether the current 10.1 version can be extended for Asian countries for preference processing or not.
Yes, starting this version GTS will let you configure new agreements in the system However, you need to be on your own on the preference rules and Rules Set.
If you are planning make EU-KR FTA or KAFTA you can make the relevant configuration and use the respective schema for rule set. Also, you need to have the correct preference rules in place to run the determination. Thanks.
