Hi,
1. Can we load transction Data prior to master data .
2.After Loading master data if we dont run Attribute Hierachy Change Run(A-H Run) What happens...?
3.How A-H run helps in Realligning the SIDs.Explain it in detail.
Thanx in Advance.
Vasu.
Hi Vasu,
1. After Loading master data we have to laod transaction data.
2. Normally A-H run will be done if you update/ change the master data. if master data has been updated then A-H run will update the new hierarchy changes if any or any new attributes assigned to existing info object.

Hi Vasu,
Typically you load the master data and then the transaction data. But you <i><b>could</b></i> load the transaction data first and then the master data also. Basically some of the transaction data have the restriction that the master data (info-object and its attributes) needs to be loaded as they be referred to in the update rules. Hence SAP has provided a mechanism in the info-package as "Do not load unless master data is loaded".
Also data loading basics talk loading master data first and then transaction data later.
As for A-H refer these links:

hi Vasu,

Tip 3:
Before you upload the transaction data you should make sure that ALL relating master data has been loaded to your system. If no master has been loaded yet, the upload may take up to 100 percent longer because in this case, the system must retrieve master data IDs for the characteristic attributes and it must add new records to the master data tables
