NW7.4 with Quest SSO and SNC encrypted connection outside domain with password

Hello,

We've got NW7.4 ABAP with 3th party SSO Quest/Dell. With possiblility for unencrypted connection and manual login with password.

My question is: Is possible encrypted connection from SAP GUI to NW ABAP when I'm not loged into domain for SSO?

If yes, what must be set into SAP GUI SNC tab?

Scenarios

1. SAP GUI (Quest SSO lib + DC login) ->>> NW AS ABAP (Quest lib + domain token) = SNC connection + SSO are OK

2. SAP GUI (SNC client encryption  lib) ->>> NW AS ABAP (Quest lib + domain token) = Is it possible?

Can I use "SNC client encryption" lib or Quest lib on Fronend side?

Hello Martin,

This collaboration space is for content and questions related to the SAP Single Sign-On product. If an SAP Customer is not using the SAP Single Sign-On product, the encryption with our SAP library is only possible based on Kerberos technology. When a customer is using SAP Single Sign-On product they can choose between Kerberos and X.509 client certificates.

For all questions about 3rd party libraries, Please, get in contact with your library vendor.

SSO token generate using VPN login. kerberose base sso 1)SSO work properly when connection is taken from office domain (network) also token is generated successful, but same when connect through remote location (home network) that time token is not generated. Kindly suggest for the same. 2)Is there any particular port number used to connect through SSO with AD server.
