Unable to register push notification: "Please check Data connection"

Hello Folks,

I'm working Kapsel push notification plugin to develop hybrid mobile application for android.I'm HCPms and followed the tut : http://enterprisemobilityblog.com/android-push-notifications-with-hcpms/

I configured everything ,during registration I'm getting alert saying "Please check Data connection " with constant variable ERR_REG_FAILED.I attached screen shot of the error with this discussion please view it for better reference.......

You have passed wrong HOST info

should be like: https://hcpms-pxxxx..... (as per screenshot its https://hcpmsadmin-pxxx...)

This info is already there in your reference blog. Please read again.

Thanks for the reply Jitendra, Yes I modified the host name and tried the same error was coming.

I even set HTTPS to false and true on both cases it was failed no luck !!!

You can test it in REST client first if everything is working fine and later try it in a device.

Also you have to toggle 'Secure' (i can see from the screenshot, it is OFF)

What kind of 'security configuration' you have selected for the app id in HCPms cockpit? If its BASIC then you have pass HCPms credentials.
