Hi Experts,
I have created some maintenance plans. Scheduled those using IP10. Created variant using IP30 and scheduled RISTRA20 in background using SM36. My job finished successfully. But no orders created.
When I go to IP10 now, it shows status as "save to call". When I save it asks "check whether permit is required" with two options "Release" and "Cancel".
Am I missing some steps?
No permits are included for orders or FLs.
TIA
Vivek

Experts,
I tried rescheduling the plan. I tried making a new plan (using IP10).
I tried signing off and signing in again.
Still the situation persists.
On a lighter note:
I am planning to log off my system once, go out of office then come again and start the process all over again. (And I'm sure situation would not change)
Thanks
Vivek

Hello,
After removing out the permit assigned to F i suggest you to reshedule the plan because afater resheduling only it will takes an effect.

Experts,
I found out one permit was in use over the topmost FL only.
We don't need it, so I removed that permit. Is that all? Or anything else has to be checked?
I tried scheduling one of the plans again BUT its again asking for "check whether permit is required".
Thanks
Vivek
P.S. Not using any equipments, checked all the FLs using IH06 and all the permits in selection criteria.
All permits are also checked using where used list in IPMD.

Dear,
Did you check your PERMITS using IPMD transaction whether they are made to assign automatically to your Preventive maintenance order type of orders based on classification system and also check with your ABAPER for any user exits or enhancements activated in debug mode.
Check in CL02 for class and CT04 for characteristic values
Class : PM_PERMIT
Class type : 049
Hope this may help you little bit.

Hey Pardha,
checked all those and nothing.
PM_PERMIT is not defined for class type 049.
No user exits are in use as per ABAPer.
Still stuck!
One additional information though. I am using Measuring points as PRT in the operations of the orders to be created through plans. Kind of inspection round planning.
Thanks
Vivek

That is definitely a custom error message, not standard. Please try to create an order manually using IW31; use the same data as in your maintenance item (order type, functional location, etc.) and see if you get the same error when you try and release the order. If so, you have a custom check at time of order release. If not, you have a custom check in IP10. Either way, a developer can help you find it by debugging the program.

Hello,
As per your scenario I think you have assign permits to equipment's or Function locations. check it and share the error screenshot with the msg.

Hi Vivek,
Do check again, whether there are permits, if you are using equipment's then you need to check for Equipments, not in FL's
