Of course Mohammed, SAP Single Sign-On 3.0 is a licensed and fully supported SAP product.

Mohammed,

SAP Single Sign-On 3.0 is a licensed product that makes the setup and configuration of a solution much easier, especially for folks that don't work in that area regularly. However, you do have "free" options that work quite well if you are willing to study and experiment with them. Take a look at SAML2.0 for ABAP SSO. This integrates with Active Directory to provide SSO to any URL you run on your ABAP servers.

There are even some blogs on how to setup SAML2.0 to enable SSO for SAP GUI but I'm not so thrilled with those solutions. That is where SSO 3.0 really gains value by enabling SAPGUI SSO.

Good Luck,

Richard
