Activity types Issue

Hello Experts,

I am doing material cost estimates with quantity structure in CK11N. But system is not deriving proper cost element according to the activity types which I have assigned in KL01. Here I have given some screenshot of it. Please check it for better understanding.

I have assigned - 99900011 for Salary & Wages and 99900033 for Administrative Cost.

But system is deriving 99900001 for Salary & Wages and 99900003 for Administrative Cost while doing Material cost estimate with quantity structure.

So please help me how to solve the above issue.

Hi my problem has been solved. I just created two new activity types with existing secondary cost element (99900011 & 99900033) and assign it with work center and rate routing. Now system is deriving proper activity types with proper secondary cost element while doing product cost collector in KKF6N.

Hi,

The system will update changes once you create new records after done posting. For earlier postings, system will update with old cost element.

Dear Shreekumar,

The activity type master data is controlled by time period. We could see that in your master data the period start from 01.04.2014 and the costing estimate we could not see the Qty Structure Date. could you please share with us ?

Check the Allocation Cost Element in the prices calculated in your KP27 t.code.

I checked Allocation cost element in KP27 but there it is showing the old secondary cost element (99900001 & 99900003) which I highlighted above.

That is the reason. When you calculate the cost, the information of cost and allocation cost element come from KP27. You have to re-calculate the plan price before run the material cost.

Check any changes have been done for the cost element for the activity type in KL02.

I checked the above activity types in KL02 and found that "Activity unit and Allocation cost element" both has been changed.

In the above Activity types the Unit of measurement was TON which was later changed to Metric Ton and Secondary cost element was 99900001 & 99900003 which was later changed to 99900011 & 99900033 respectively.

Actually system is unable to derive the new secondary cost element.

So kindly suggest me what to do ?
