Hi,
I am searching a way to create a new (Confirmed)InboundDelivery from ABSL based on an existing PurchaseOrder. Did anyone managed to do this? Same for OutboundDeliveries.
Best Regards,
Daniel
Dear Daniel Weinberg,
I also tried to create a new (Confirmed) Inbound Delivery from ABSL based on an existing PurchaseOrder. And I got it. The codes shown in Respository Explorer is not enough to create a new (Confirmed) Inbound Delivery. Please check the attachment for your reference.
Best Regards,
Thiri

Hi Danial,
Have you checked the BOs in the Repository Explorer?
Select the BOs and you can find some relevant information under Information for External Consumers
. I am not sure your requirement is possible or not. But that is worth checking.

Fred

Hi Fred,
Yes I did. But the general problem in ByDesign is that (especially in this case) there are multiple BOs working together (such as ConfirmedInboundDelivery, InboundDelivery, SiteLogisticsLot, ...). Unfortunately, you can only make a best guess about how they work together when debugging the creation of e.g. an InboundDelivery from the UI.
Best Regards,
Daniel
Hi Fred,
Unfortunately the sample code ist not working at all. I could eliminate most of the errors (e.g., the vendor party was not derived from the purchase order as described), but one error persists. The system always tells me that a preceeding inbound delivery request is required. I have already raised an incident for this,
But even if I solve that issue this does not have any impact on the stock level. As I understood, the process would create some SiteLogisticsTask that you still need to confirm in order to book you goods on stock.
Cheers,
Daniel
