Hi Friends
There is a request to show a demo in SAP PP for Diary Industry.
Mainly the company produces standard Milk which is procured from own Cattle Field and from other vendors
They are also into the Production of Juices and Yogurt
Need your help / comments in the below area's
1. How to set up the BOM & Master Recipe (Since this falls inside the Process Industry, thought to Map the Master Recipe insted of Routing)
2. How to take care abt the Fat % and SNF%
3. What are the Calculations been involved in the Process

In PP-PI basically in Dairy industry we may get the different types of Co-Products / By-Products after completing the production process
So you have to create the BOM as per matrix given by the business user i.e. By using Raw milk what are the products they are making in those what all are Co-Products and what is main product and what is your base quantity and what is the out put quantity against that base quantity.. for costing prospect you can maintain the apportionment structure with equivalence numbers
if out put products are different then create the alternative BOM's through Production version
similarly in master recipe we will use the Phases so create one operation along with phase and assign the production version against that phase
while making the operation level confirmation through COR6N you can consume the components against the phase
