WebIDE upgrade problem

Hello Experts,

Every time web IDE is automatically upgraded it asks for new HAT installation, how can we prevent web IDE to upgrade.

You can't prevent Web IDE from upgrading.

Adding HAT colleagues: - can you please check this issue?

We have to setup HAT everytime Web IDE is upgraded it fails in packaging the solution if HAT is not upgraded, HAT setup is already tedious process and impacts timeline to deliver 😞

I request product development to resolve this on priority.

Hi,

HAT is made of two parts, one is a external plugin within Web IDE, which can be automatically upgraded along with Web IDE, the other is a local add-on component, which needs to be manually upgraded by developer, currently, if the version of these two parts of HAT are not consistent, a warning message will be showed.

Can you please share details on how HAT plugin within Web IDE is used.

Any links or documents will be very helpful.

Also we have heard SAP was suppose to launch packaging tool as part of solution with mobile secure in dec 2015 , can you please share details on it.

I guess, Thomas is talking about 'Hybrid application toolkit' plugin available under Tools>Preference

It has a dependency on local HAT installation.

For your other query, that solution is not yet available, planned in Q1
