Calculation of Input Material Qty

Hi,

Pls not the follwing details of a Process who's Raw Material is GREY YARN & FG is Fabric which following list of process with loss.

Description	Process Loss
DYED YARN
CONE WINDING	2%
SLIT OPEN WASHING
SLIT OPEN RAISING	6%
ALL OVER PRINT	8%
SLIT OPEN WASHING-1
OPEN WIDTH COMPACTING-1	10%

Is any formula to find the RAW MATERIAL Req. qty in Single STEP. Presently, i'm using dependent req. calculation from FG to RAW Material with help of a excel sheet - Normaly YIELD + SCARP = INPUT.

Hello,

Your requirement would be satisfied by MRP, you can go for simulation mode if you just want to see the result and not save any MRP results in the system.

The normal way you find the requirement quantity for the lower levels of the BOM is to run MRP.   Transaction MD02
