I have a customer who has restaurant chains and needs to have multiple head offices. For example there is a holding company that owns many restaurants and the holding company may allocate brand specific allocations like advertising. At a higher level in the organization there is another head office which may have costs to allocate across all brands (like insurance).
In the Landscape it appears that you can only assign one Head Office company although I find no such restrictions mentioned in the Administrator or User Guides. Any advice on how to accomplish these goals within one landscape would be appreciated.
I did confirm with SAP that there is only one Head Office per landscape. This restriction should be documented. We will test with the lower level head office configured as a branch and report back!
