Selective deletion based on fiscal week in a dso thru process chain

hi

My requirement is to do selective deletion of data from dso based on a range of fiscal week for example current week - 53 till current week -1.

So, I tried using delete_facts program but I am unable to see the D option for the DSO. For cube , it is working fine.

Hi Jackie

Did you select "Generate Selection program" ?

It will generate a code and give you name of the report.   Test that report in in SE38.

I just tested it, it is working fine.

What format of Calweek you have in DSO ?  Default format is Week/YEAR .  Are you trying with  current week / YEAR , i.e  04/2016 ?

Can u see option "D"?

I tried for both cube and dso.

For cube i am able to see D and T but for dso i can see only T

There are other steps that needs to be followed after this. There is a pdf on how to selectively delete using pc in infocube

I know.  What I wanted to be sure, if from SE38 you are able to delete data selectively.  Once done with that, we can move  this program to PC.  Taking a phase wise approach normally helps, at least that's the case with me.
