SQVI - Joining Tables EKKN & EBAN - to get PO SD & PR

Former Member

Hi,

I am having trouble joining tables EKKN & EBAN using SQVI.

When creating i have selected Date Source: Table Join

In EBAN i have selected the following:

EBAN-BANFN - List & Selection

EBAN -KONNR - List

EBAN-KTPNR - List

EBAN-EBELN - List & Selection

In EKKN:

EKKN-EBELN - List

EKKN-EBELP - List

EKKN-VBELN - List & Selection

When i go to run i have a list of 10 POs which i have to test and the following message appears:

"No Data was selected"

Any help on why this is happening?

Thanks,

You just explained which fields you selected for the selection screen and the list, but you have not at all explained on which fields you have actually used in  the join. SAP automatically joins on equal field names but this does not always make sense and you would need to remove a proposed join and create another.

Sorry i am new to SQVI and am having to upskill myself.

I removed the automatically generated join and linked the following:

EBAN-EBELN to EKKN-EBELN

SAP automatically joins EBAN-KTPNR to EKKN-EBELP

But i am obviously doing it wrong but i don't know how to get it to work.

The remit was given to me by a colleague who has a list of POs, uses EKKN to obtain the SD Document number and then uses the PO in EBAN to return the PR.

The PO number in table EBAN cannot be trusted, since standard SAP allows to create several POs from one requisition.

The link from PO to requisition  is in table EKET.

Thank you for this info, i have got it to work now using EKET instead of EBAN.

I am not sure about the report you're building, the table EBAN refers to PR items and the table EBKN is the PR account assignment so please check the data you looking is on EBKN or EKKN.
