SMP- Gateway oData destination error

Based on following URL we are successful in creating destination in SMP for oData, but while configuring in admin it gives ping failed error

You have to import backend service into SMP keystore as its HTTPS. There are many discussions available on SCN. Please search and explore.

And yes, you have to RESTART server after importing certificate.

Now the ping is successful but which authentication type should selected if i give admin in rest client GET works fine but no POST , when i give no authentication challenge GET does not work but POST works fine.

I have used SSO of type basic with SMP credentials.

It depends on what kind of 'authentication provider' you have with security profile?

If you choose HTTP/HTTPS authentication one, then you have to pass GW credentials during on-boarding and for subsequent CRUD requests.
