Choose From List - Find box

Hi Experts,

I have created a formatted search to display the list of customers - Choose From List, but when a user tries to use the wildcard character (*) in the middle of a keyword that is being search in the Find Box that doesn't seem to work. For example: if the user types "*AA*" in the Find Box of the Choose From List screen, the normal behaviour is, the system will move and highlight the nearest matching record but in the Choose From List from a Formatted Search, it doesn't happen. Is this a bug? Or is there a workaround to have this working? Thanks in advance.
