Rounding the sales Order Quantity to bundle quantity

Dear all,

I have a requirement while creating sales order the unit will be PC and 25 PC will be Bundle  ( Bundle qty will differ from material to material)

so the user will always enter the qty in PC so if the under enters the QTY as 25 or 50 or 75 PC then it should allow them to proceed.

if he tries to enter the 30 PC then the message should come and inform either he can chose 25 pc or 50 pc. and it should not allow him to save with 30 pc.

has anyone come across the above process.

Please help

Regards

Would it make sense to create UOM for "bundle" (or use an existing one), then maintain the conversion rule 1 bundle = 25 PC in the material master and make bundle the sales UOM? Since you are, in fact, selling bundles and not PC.

If down the line these bundles still need to be assembled (although in this case I'm not sure why you are selling goods like that if they are packaged differently), then perhaps bundles can be converted back to PC. On any paperwork you can easily show PC using UOM conversion.

It'd make sense to think what exactly you're trying to achieve at the end, not just "how to restrict order". It's just a small part.

With standard settings, it is not possible to achieve in sale order, while for delivery, it is possible.  You can try with MV45AFZZ to restrict in sale order.
