Restriction of document display to basis admins-SP01

Former Member

Hi All,

We need to provide SP01 t-code  to basis admins for daily administration. The authorizations provided are as shown in the attachment.

But issue is, along with spool requests status the entire document which is printed is also shown. This needs to be restricted as some of the documents can be sensitive. Please let me know how can we provide basis admins the access to monitor spool requests without them having access to see the actual document.

Message was edited by: Varsha NarahariI am unable to attach the screenshots, hence texting the authorisations: object S_SPO_ACT, Action=* User=* object: S_ADMI_FCD= SP*

Thanks Surya. I had  read this note but my problem is yet not solved. The basis user requires to check the status of all users spool requests, so in authorization field of S_SPO_ACT I have given *.

But this also enables him to see the documents the user is printing which I want to block.

There is mention of "protected documents", how do we "protect" the documents. Is it at the document level or is there any other authorization that can be set. Basically, the display of the document is not required at all.

Hi Varsha,

You need to check with restricting filed S_ADMI_FCD - (SP01 & S0R should be restricted) in authorization object S_ADMI_FCD. Also, if you want to restrict display contents in spool then remove value 'DISP - Display contents' from field SPOACTION in authorization object S_SPO_ACT.

I hope this helps you.

Thanks,

Shiv
