Availability check on multi-plants

Hi Experts;

When creating a SO, in the availability check, is it possible to expand the availability check to other plants other than that entered in SO.

Is there a particular setting to achieve this ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Another way is to activate MRP area, where you can group multiple plant into 1 requirement group.

Hi;

Sorry Alexander, I could not see your response instead.

And I thank you for your reply.

Can you explain a little more ?

How can we include the MRP area in the control of availability?

Hi G. Lakshmipathi;

Thanks for your reply.

I'll analyze your proposal via the programming to see if we can do that fairly quickly

HI

I consulted from explanations of the links you sent me.

I understood (except error on my part) that the Global availability check is only possible via SAP APO. However, at the moment we do not use SAP APO.

Is there other alternative programming.

Have a look at this thread

and ask your ABAP team to do necessary modifications but while doing so, ensure that you test all possible scenarios.  This is due to the fact that enhancements related to ATP might behave weirdly either with over confirmation or not confirming in most of the cases and unless you test thoroughly with negative testing, you will land up in problem if it is moved to PRD without rigorous testing.

AFIK, no, that's a restriction of ATP over ECC, if you take a look to:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/f4/7d326d44af11d182b40000e829fbfe/content.htm

Even do, there is not a clear statement, from the reading you can see that it is just one single plant related.

To achieve this, I've used Rules Based technique of Global ATP (gATP) of SAP-APO, take a look to

Global Available-to-Promise (Global ATP) - SAP Library

You have to do development to extend it to other plants. Please check KBA. You can also explore user exits exits USEREXIT_AVAILABILITY_IN (RV03VFZZ) and EXIT_SAPLATPC_001 (ATP00001)
