Cross Docking Query

Dear Experts,

Inbound Driven - EWM Opp. Cross Docking.

On Inbound Delivery creation my first task is Unloading WT getting created, on confirmation of Unloading WT the Goods Receipt is triggered.

Due to the Unloading Task created initially the EWM Inbound Opp, Cross Docking is not getting triggered.

My Query, before goods receipts if any task created for the Inbound Delivery will the Cross Docking trigger (or) not

For Inbound Goods Receipts we have created the Unloading Task post which GR is completed

Now I want to Initiate the Cross Docking

Will the System create the Cross Docking WT from GR- Zone.

what is the priority against your stock determination group.Ensure it to ' WM has priority '

And also check the product group types in the stock determination , those should maintained in the product master properties 2 tab in the global data.

Hi Ramesh,

In EWM OCD, stock availability can check from GR staging area itself.goods receipt means , it is available in GR staging area.

As per your query, unloading task is not a cause to trigger OCD.

Before goods receipt, you are doing unloading.for your configuration , check either GR staging area ( storage type) is maintained in stock removal strategy or not.

Check the stock determination configuration & product master data also either stock determination group is maintained or not.

As have maintained the GR Staging area in my Stock removal strategy.

All the required config are maintained for EWM OCD.

Our scenario:

Outbound deliveries are created in advance.

One I complete my inbound delivery GR, the CD task has to trigger.

In Inbound Delivery first task is Unload Task on confirmation my Goods Receipts are completed and in GR Zone.

On Unload Task confirmation with POSC we are triggering the next Step for Final Putaway task creation.

Expection is to create the CD task instead of Putaway task.

Yes,

It seems you are using POSC and Putaway WT is creating automatically.here you need to remove the automatic WT creation check box in the storage process.

If you don't have any OBDs , then create putaway WTs manually.

If you want OCD always, you can set up storage process with IBO1 + OB03.
