Moving a Local Repository to a New Database Server

Hi All,

As I know the following steps are recommended to move a local DS repository to a new database server:

     1.Create a local repository on the new database server with Repository Manager;

     2.Export the old repository to a file and import it into the new repository;

     3.Use the Server Manager to delete the old repository entry, and then add the new one.

After performing these steps can we continue delta load of ODP datasources and openHUBs? Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Dmiry.

Yes!!

But the repository version should be the same for the newly created repository database. Once you associate the Job Server with the newly created repository using Server Manager you should be able to run the Delta load of ODP datasources and openHUB's

Thank you Arun,

Technical name of the new repository should be the same as the old one?

Yes!!

It can be same. But I would suggest to give a new name like DS_LOCAL_REPO_NEW
