SAP Screen Personas 3.0 SP1 and SAP GUI for JAVA 7.40 rev4

Hi all,

we installed SAP Screen Personas 3.0 and assumed that we can use the created flavors directly within the Java GUI 7.40 (rev 4) because of the fact that we are an advertising agency only working on MACs. But as far as I understood this function is deactivated in 7.40. Is this correct? Can it be activated somehow?

Is it possible to be a Beta tester of the new 7.50 GUI because we really need those adjusted screens in order to gain user acceptance.

Hello Henning,

We had do decide to provide Personas functionality in 7.50, the next major release, and not in 7.40. The kind and amount of chances we are doing for Personas in our development branch we definitely do not want to have in a shipping version with the high potential of endangering the production of our customers.

It is planned to have a beta program before officially shipping SAP GUI for Java 7.50.

In case you want to provide Personas screens to your users today, you should consider SAP GUI for Html.
