Copy of items in sales deal

Hi Gurus,

I have some deleted items in a sales deal. When I use that deal as a reference to create new deal, the deleted items are also copied to new deal.

I want to exclude the deleted items.. Please let us know if any of you are aware of a solution here

Foreclose the validity period of that condition record and retry the process.

It is one of the ways possible, but I was wondering if there is a standard way to filter out deleted items
