Missing context menu for Design Studio Runtime

Hi,

Our environment consists of SAP BOBJ BI 4.1 SP06 Patch 4 with the SAP Design Studio 1.6 add-on installed. After the installation of the DS add-on, the web applications BOE, dswsbobje and AdminTools have been redeployed on the Tomcat server.

When I right-click on the Design Studio Runtime entry in the CMC > Applications section, the only entry I get is User security. In other words, the options Manage Bookmarks, Manager Folders and Manager Properties are missing.

I couldn't find anything on SAP KB to point me in the right direction. Perhaps someone here has an idea?

Kristof - are you logged on as the Administrator in the CMC?  Same issue then?

My user is part of the Administrators group, but just to be sure, I tried as the actual Administrator as well. Same result though:

Kristof - consider following the steps for this SAP KBA updated December 22, 2015 http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2238891 - if that doesn't work, then I recommend opening an incident with SAP Support referencing this thread

Thanks, however the Analysis Application Service itself is running fine in two newly created APS containers, and documents created in DS display without any problem in the BI Launch Pad.

hi Kristof,

actually im facing almost the same issue that you are, i'd like to  know if you could fix the problem somehow, 'cause sap support tell me its is an installation issue. Can you please tell me about the status you are with this problem?
