Web Dispatcher Doubt

Hi All,

I need to integrate external web services with SAP PI using https connection. we are looking to install webdispatcher and route the https calls.

we have Portal,Solman,PI,SRM and ECC in the landscape.

Do we need to install web dispatcher in each box and each environment(DEV,QA,Prod)?

or installing web dispatcher in one server will be enough(PI Prod)?

I need to route the https call with below fashion and dont want to share my internal host name details to outside company systems(B2B)

Dev --  aidwas.company.com(external url) --> sapdev.company.com(internal url)

QA --  aiqwas.company.com(external url) --> sapqas.company.com(internal url)

Prod --  aipwas.company.com(external url) --> sapprd.company.com(internal url)

installing the webdispatcher in one system will be enough to handle this requirement? what is the best approach for installing web dispatcher?

Hello Muni,

You can use a single Web Dispatcher (using the multiple systems feature that you have found) or use one Web Dispatcher for each system.

This is up to you to decide.
