Dear Guru's,
I have a motor that motor has less power (HP) and i changed the motor with high power (HP) so how can we do it and what is the process to change it.
Best Regards,
Atul
Also
Dismantled motors will have systatus AVLB and installed motors will have INST or ASEQ. If you want to have non working spare motors also shown in your structure then you can have flocn with names Ready and Under Repair. When repairs of a motor completes it will be dismantled from there and installed under Ready flocn. And when a working motor changes a motor from Ready flocn will go to working flocn and the process continue.

Hi Atul,
This should be handled has a corrective order or Refurbishment process.
Also as Jogeswara said, you should update the classification data.

Dear,
You can create new motor code for high power HP motor and install in functional location where old motor with less HP is installed. But here you need to have validity period fro New HP motor and Old HP motor.
So valid from date for new HP motor needs to be assigned the date from which it is active. So that while you generate cost or equipment changed in a particular location list can be viewed in SAP.
Normally we maintain one functional location as ELECTRICAL WORK SHOP shop so all the removed motors are relocated to electrical work shop f/l in sap.So taht you can have track ion the spare or removed equipments.

Hello Atul,
It is exactly through class and characteristics. You need to maintain a class say motor in these two equipments and assign corresponding hp, amp, rpm, kw etc. After this you can do the equipment replacement by one another.
Hope this is your query.

That's exactly what I replied Atul.
Your both motors are equipments in SAP through IE01. You will create a class named motor (CL02) with characteristics like hp, rpm etc. Now you will assign this class to these two equipments and give corresponding values of hp, rpm etc. And dismantle the 45hp motor and fit 50hp motor through IE02.
Dear,
For old motor if you have PM checks, you need to deactivate the old motor Maintenance plan till you bring old motor live. And add this new high HP motor in PM plans also.
If you have refurbishment process with serial number management you can use installation and dismanling process through IE4N transaction.
Of no refurbishment , just like only creating maintennavce order aginst replacement , just go to IE02--> structure tab and click on dismantle, here system considers the validty end data of equipment as current date.

pardhu
