Issue with Repeat Functionality when activation step fails in a Process Chain

Hi Experts,

Scenario:

There is standard DSO ABC and it has different DTP loads. After different DTP loads activation is done together at the last step.

Activation process has "Do not condense request in one request while activation" option is CHECKED.

Issue:

Consider a case where 4 DTP loads (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th) will run and Activation step is triggered.

Due to system issue or data issue this activation step fails while activating 2nd DTP request.

Now when we repeat the failed activation step only 2nd Request is activated and Process chain status turns green.

3rd and 4th DTP request will not be activated.

In case of no failure during activation all the requests are activated and at last PC status changes to Green.

Kindly let me know if this an expected behavior? What is technical reason for the same?

Is it because an activation will be tagged to a particular instance/request number. Upon failure only the failed instance is repeated?

We know this can be avoided if "Do not condense requests in one request while activation" is unchecked.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,
