How to automate Goods Receipt in EWM once unloading WT gets confirmed ?

Is there any setting in WPT ?

There is no setting. If you have a unloading WT and confirm this, the GR should be automatically posted.

Hi Sunil,

If your using POSC , for the unloading step set source bin is door bin & destination bin is GR staging area.

once you confirm WT means GR is done. In WPT configuration one check box is there ' confirm immediately' , use this to confirm the step automitacally.

If you want to get WPT automtically against IBD, use PPF actions under the applicatio /SCDL/ DELIVERY.

You mean once i confirm the unloading task it will trigger auto GR .

Right ?

I am using POSC with below settings .

Sequence	Step	Auto WT	Product/HU WT
1	IB01	X
2	IB02	X
3	IB03

Here i understand Auto WT - will create auto WT.

But didn't understand what is the use of Product/HU WT setting ?

What is the best scenario where we can use it

Hi Suneel,

In the goods receipt process, if you want to create product WTs and HU WTs for the putway for a certain point in time ( against the external step ).

For example, if you define deconsolidation as storage process step and also want to create the product WTs and HU WTs for putaway at the point in

time when the HU WTs are created for the deconsolidation for the work center.

You can only create putaway WTs  once per storage process  in the goods receipt process.

Is the sequence matters for Product/ HU WT .

Suppose i checc/set Product/HU WT for IB01 will it create a WT for putaway ?
