Restful SDK vs Java SDK for SAP BusinessObjects

As we know that Java SDK is used for BOXI 3.1 and Restful SDK is supported from BO 4.0

Please let me know will all the outcomes that we achieve from Java SDK are possible through Restful SDK also.

Hi Saurabh,

Most of the functionalities that is present with RE BEAN SDKs in XI 3.1 are also present with REST SDKs from BI 4.0 (I think the SP05 onwards).

It would be better that you would do a functional comparison on the both of the SDKs on the basis of your requirement. If you are beginner in REST SDKs, I would suggest you to go through with some published resources & documentation using link & REST SDK Developer guide, so that you have a clear picture.

Also REST SDK is evolving & will come up with so many new features from the BI Platform perspective in the new version release of the product.
