WF Initiator does not exist

Hello All,

I am investigating a workflow previously developed at a client site.

The workflow is going to error status trying to send an email to the WF Initiator - email was not found.

I checked SU01D - the user id of the WF Initiator does not exist.

I checked where used in the flow, WF Initiator is not being overwritten.

The event log is off in production - I may turn on to hopefully catch it - but it is not happening that frequently.

Thank You and Kind Regards,

If it is an old workflow, then probably the user was deleted at some point.

Please use transaction SWI2_ADM1 to find out workitems without agents.

It is also possible that the workflow is triggered manually in some custom code where the _evt_creator container is passed on with a literal. Check the binding of the workflow to make sure that &_EVT_CREATOR& is binded to &_WF_INITITATOR& and not some literal.

    Kind regards, Rob Dielemans
