Office 365 distribution List created do not appear in LDAP

Hi,

We have a office 365 Distribution List(DL) created on the office 365 sever on the cloud. However  the users in this DL do not appear  on the group , once this group is added through the LDAP authentication on the SAP BO4.1 SP6 environment. Could some one let me know what could be the possible issue.

Am attaching the file which shows the empty users list for the particular group.

regards ,

Anusha

Check:-

create new Alias option checked or not in LDAP.?

Do you have sufficient licence to create new user.?

Does update gives any error?

Create new Alias option is checked in .PFA the screenshot.

However when we try to double- click on the groups to see the users . There are no users . Earlier when this group was added in LDAP , it had shown the Error , "The Sec LDAP plugin failed to get the DN for the group" . This issue got resolved when the mail team added the DL to the on- premises sever apart from the Office 365  .

Is this because of the of SAP BO 4.1 does not support Office 365 DL . Any settings that are to be modified to see the users reflecting in the group.

Yes Anusha, BI4.1 does not support Office 365 DL so far.

The settings which i shared were the basic setting need for LDAP Plugin to create a group and user.

What abt other Ldap users and groups, are they working?

then what is ADFS. Hope ADFS provides a platform to single sign on for the organization users on 365 to login as per the access granted. Can you please share the details .
