Determine Inbound Delivery Type

Hi guys

that might be an easy one for you...

I would to know / undertand how the inbound delivery type is define in the system at creation step.

when I create manually an inbound delivery the system determines automatically the type (EL for example)

what is the configuration point to adjust and indicate to the system which inbound delivery type needs to be determined automatically

Hi,

   Mr. Jurgen already explained the logic - to be more specific, go to path: SPRO -> MM -> Purchasing -> Confirmations -> Define Internal Confirmation Categories. Here, you can assign the required delivery type to IBD.

Hi guys

I was creating the inbound deliveries from a standard program which had hardcode with the standard delivery type

that is why it was not respecting the key confirmation from the PO

that is exactly what I did as configuration before writing the message

My confirmation type is set to LA with inbound delivery type ZEL defined

the key control confirmation is ZPRE with confirmation type LA

In the purchase order the key confirmation is ZPRe so it should retrieve ZEL as inbound delivery type but it is giving me EL the standard delivery type which is not defined with the confirmation type...

   Just tested the scenario and found working as desired as per below screenshot:

   You may test again with a new PO after making the avove settings.
